FAQ

01How do you protect the lenses and temples from being crushed, bent or scratched?

We use a rigid structure with a soft lining and an insert cut to the shape of the frame, so the lenses never touch a hard surface and the temples are not forced out of shape. The rigid shell also stops the box from pressing on the lenses if it is squeezed.

02Hard-shell box, folding box or drawer box: which should a glasses brand choose?

A rigid hard-shell case protects best against squeezing, which suits everyday carrying. Folding and drawer boxes are lighter and usually cheaper, and suit retail presentation and flat shipping. The right choice depends on your brand positioning and budget.

03What is the difference between the everyday carry case and the outer retail box? Can they be made together?

The everyday case needs to be durable and practical, and it can carry your branding. The outer retail box handles shelf presentation, protection in transit and the unboxing experience. The two can be designed as one matching set.

04Is the box different for sunglasses and optical frames?

Sunglasses are usually larger and bulkier, while optical frames are lighter and smaller, so the cavity and box size are made to the specific model. Send us the frame dimensions or a sample.

05Can a matching glasses cloth or pouch be supplied?

Matching cloths and pouches can be discussed together with the box, so the whole set shares the same look.

06Does a glasses box need an outer carton for shipping?

It depends. If the box has no logo or special artwork on the outside, it can be shipped directly. If the artwork is distinctive, knocks and scuffs in transit can make the brand look poor on arrival, so we suggest adding an outer courier bag or carton.

07Which material suits a glasses case: PU leather, rigid board or EVA, and how durable is each?

Rigid board wrapped in PU leather gives a premium look and feel. An EVA hard shell is very durable and water-resistant. Plain paperboard is the lowest cost but is less durable for daily carrying. Choose according to use and budget.

08Which closure lasts longest: magnetic, snap or tuck-in?

A magnetic closure shuts cleanly and feels premium. A snap fastening is durable and suits cases carried every day. A tuck-in closure is the simplest and lowest in cost, and suits retail boxes.

09Is there an eco-friendly option for glasses boxes?

Our paper boxes are made from virgin pulp and can use FSC-certified materials, and the inks are eco-friendly. Inserts can be moulded paper pulp instead of plastic trays, and pull tabs and tamper-evident seals can also be made of paper. Premium brands often set strict environmental requirements, and we can provide the relevant test reports.

10What are the MOQ, sampling time and lead time? Can I start with a small trial batch?

The minimum order quantity is 1,000 pieces. Sampling takes 3–5 days and production usually takes 15–20 days. If you are just starting out and want to test the market with a small batch, we can support that.
