FAQ

01How should clothes and scarves be folded so they don't crease in the box?

Fold the garment to a consistent size, place tissue paper between the layers, and choose a box that fits well: snug enough that nothing slides, but not so tight that the fabric is pressed.

02How is the box size decided, based on garment thickness and folding method?

We size the box to your product, so tell us the dimensions of the folded garment; a standard folded shirt typically fits a footprint of around 37 × 27 cm. Unless there are extra decorative requirements, we make the box fit as closely as possible, which also reduces shipping cost.

03Can a garment box be posted directly, or is it only a presentation box that needs an outer mailer?

It depends. If the box has no logo or special artwork on the outside, it can be shipped directly. If the artwork is distinctive, knocks and scuffs in transit can make the brand look poor on arrival, so we suggest adding an outer courier bag or carton.

04How deep should the box be for T-shirts, shirts, knitwear and coats?

The depth depends on how thick the garment is once folded. As a rough guide, a folded dress shirt needs about 3–4 cm of depth, a sweater or oversized tee about 5 cm, and a coat or two-piece set about 6 cm. We make it to your actual folded dimensions.

05How do tissue paper, stickers and hang tags go with the box?

They can be made as one matching set with the same branding: tissue paper wraps the garment, a sticker seals it, and the hang tag attaches to the garment.

06Lid-and-base, drawer, flip-top or folding box: how should a clothing brand choose?

Lid-and-base and drawer boxes generally suit retail and display. Foldable and magnetic boxes are usually made larger, so they suit gift sets. Choose according to your brand positioning and budget.

07Can garment boxes be shipped flat, and how are they assembled?

Simple box styles are best shipped flat, which costs less in freight. Boxes with a more complex structure are generally shipped fully formed.

08Should a garment box have a window or be fully closed?

A window lets customers see the colour and fabric, but exposes the garment to dust and light. A fully closed box looks cleaner and protects better. Choose according to how you sell.

09Is there an eco-friendly option for garment boxes?

Our paper boxes are made from virgin pulp and can use FSC-certified materials, and the inks are eco-friendly. Inserts can be moulded paper pulp instead of plastic trays, and pull tabs and tamper-evident seals can also be made of paper. Premium brands often set strict environmental requirements, and we can provide the relevant test reports.

10What are the MOQ, sampling time and lead time? Can I start with a small trial batch?

The minimum order quantity is 1,000 pieces. Sampling takes 3–5 days and production usually takes 15–20 days. If you are just starting out and want to test the market with a small batch, we can support that.
