FAQ

01Which corrugated flute should I choose, and which boxes can be shipped directly?

Single-wall flutes such as E-flute and B-flute are suited to the unboxing experience or to inner packaging; they are not strong enough to ship on their own. For direct shipping, products under about 1,000 g need a double-wall board such as BE-flute. For products over 1,000 g, especially bulky ones, a triple-wall board or a double-wall board reinforced with E-flute is needed to meet shipping safety requirements.

02Can the e-commerce box go straight into the post, or does it need an outer shipping box?

It depends. If the box has no logo or special artwork on the outside, it can be shipped directly. If the artwork is distinctive, knocks and scuffs in transit can make the brand look poor on arrival, so we suggest adding an outer courier bag or carton.

03How do I stop the product moving around inside the box?

Corrugated dividers, moulded pulp trays, card inserts, honeycomb paper and EVA foam can all be used. Fixing the product firmly is essential for electronics, glass bottles, wine, cosmetics and phone accessories.

04How should glass, liquids and fragile products be packed, and how much cushioning space is needed?

The clearance should not be large: about 2% is usually enough. The product should be held firmly in the box with EVA, paper trays or the newer moulded-fibre (paper-plastic) inserts, which replace traditional plastic trays.

05How is the box size decided? What goes wrong if it is too big or too small?

We size the box to your product, so simply tell us the product dimensions. Unless there are extra decorative requirements, we make the box fit the product as closely as possible, which also reduces shipping cost.

06How can I save on shipping? Flat-packed or assembled?

For e-commerce packaging we generally recommend shipping flat. If your product is also manufactured in China, we can deliver the packaging straight to your product manufacturer so they pack it there, which saves labour and freight. If your manufacturer is outside China, flat-packed shipping still keeps costs down. Plan two to three months ahead so the packaging can travel by sea, which is far cheaper; air freight is normally kept for urgent orders.

07How good is the print quality on corrugated boxes? Can both sides be printed?

You do not need to worry about dull or coarse results. We print on a latest-generation Heidelberg press with five colours, which preserves your original design as faithfully as possible. Both the inside and the outside can be printed, and we can also help with the design.

08Can tamper-evident and easy-return features be added?

Yes. Our newest tear strip is paper, developed in-house, instead of the usual plastic one, so the whole pack stays paper-based and more environmentally friendly.

09How far can we go with eco-friendly, low-plastic e-commerce packaging?

Our paper boxes are made from virgin pulp and can use FSC-certified materials, and the inks are eco-friendly. Inserts can be moulded paper pulp instead of plastic trays, and pull tabs and tamper-evident seals can also be made of paper. Premium brands often set strict environmental requirements, and we can provide the relevant test reports.

10What are the MOQ, sampling time and lead time? Can I start with a small trial batch?

The minimum order quantity is 1,000 pieces. Sampling takes 3–5 days and production usually takes 15–20 days. If you are just starting out and want to test the market with a small batch, we can support that.

11What happens if my order arrives damaged?

We ship in the thickest carton suited to the weight of your product, not in simple bag-style packing. We also run strict quality control before the goods leave the factory, with a finished-product pass rate of 98%. If damage is caused by our fault, we compensate the loss in full.
