Common styles include a bow, a cross-tie and a ribbon threaded through slots as a draw-pull. The right one depends on the box type and the look you want.

The ribbon can be glued in place, threaded through slits in the box, or held with a small tab, so it does not slip off or come loose.

Satin has a premium sheen but is slippery, so knots can loosen unless tied securely. Grosgrain is textured and matt, and holds a bow shape well. Cotton looks natural and matt and is the more eco-minded choice. Choose according to your brand style.

Width is chosen to suit the box size, the bow style and the overall proportion: wider for larger boxes, narrower for small ones. Tell us the box size and the look you want and we will recommend a width.

Common methods are screen printing, digital printing, foil and woven designs. Very fine text can lose clarity on a narrow ribbon, and a repeating logo needs enough spacing to look clean around a bow.

We can work from a colour reference or brand standard and confirm the closest suitable production option through sampling. We recommend checking a colour swatch before placing a large order.

A raw cut edge on satin can fray. We can use ribbon with woven edges and heat-seal the cut ends to prevent fraying.

Project-specific cutting, loops, bows and attachment methods can be reviewed according to packing efficiency and the final presentation.

Cotton and recycled polyester ribbon options can be discussed, depending on the look, feel and strength you need.

The minimum order quantity is 1,000 pieces. Sampling takes 3–5 days and production usually takes 15–20 days. If you are just starting out and want to test the market with a small batch, we can support that.
